Where's Waldo? Scavenger Hunt from July 1st - July 30th

Celebrate Waldo in Wellesley from July 1st - July 31st!

Where's Waldo? In Wellesley, of course! He's turning twenty-five this year, and to celebrate, the famous fellow in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty different local businesses all through the month of July.

Those who spot him can win prizes, including buttons, books, and more! Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo in Wellesley!” search list with the names of all the businesses, and collect an "I Found Waldo at ___________" card for each Waldo they spot starting on July 1st. Collecting cards in sixteen or more businesses and turning them in at Wellesley Books will win a Waldo button and an entry for other, larger prizes to be drawn at a special Waldo party on July 31. There is no charge to participate, and the game lasts for the entire month of July.

FIND WALDO in WELLESLEY

1) Waldo is hiding in all these local businesses in July. Go find him!

2) When you spot him, collect a card and check the box off your list.

3) When you have 8 different cards, bring them to WELLESLEY BOOKS to claim a Waldo button (for first 100 Waldo spotters).

4) If you collect 16 of the possible 20 cards, turn in your cards at WELLESLEY BOOKS to get a Waldo button and be entered in a drawing for a 6-book deluxe set of the Waldo books and other great prizes.

5) Plan to attend a Waldo grand celebration and prize drawing at 4:00 PM on July 31 at Wellesley Books!

WHO'S WALDO?

Waldo is the creation of Martin Handford, whose entertaining drawings of crowd scenes swept the world in 1987. Since then, the Where’s Waldo books have held a cherished spot on bookstore shelves the world over.
