Lucky us! Three Sisters in Crime will unveil all kinds of secrets related to their mysteries and their writing success. Join Hallie Ephron, Rosemary Harris, and Hank Phillippi Ryan for a panel discussion of their novels and more. We'll have dark desserts and thorny treats to enhance the evening.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
HALLIE EPHRON:
Hallie Ephron reads of hundreds of mysteries a year in her role as the “On Crime” book review columnist for the Boston Globe. She lives in Boston, far from Los Angeles where she grew up in a family of formidable literary talent. She is the third of four writing Ephron sisters; her siblings are movie director Nora Ephron and screenwriter/novelists Delia and Amy. Her parents, Henry and Phoebe Ephron, wrote screenplays for such classic films as The Desk Set, Daddy Long Legs, and Carousel. Never Tell a Lie is her debut novel. Hallie has two other books of interest: Writing and Selling Your Mystery Novel AND 1001 Books for Every Mood: A Bibliophile's Guide to Unwinding, Misbehaving, Forgiving, Celebrating, Commiserating.
ROSEMARY HARRIS:
Rosemary Harris is a former bookstore manager and video producer who now writes full-time. Her latest novel is Dead Head. Her debut novel, Pushing Up Daisies has been nominated for both the Agatha and the Anthony for Best First Mystery. She’s the past president of Sisters in Crime New England and a board member of Mystery Writers of America/New York Chapter. HANK PHILLIPPI RYAN:
