Sarah Dessen to share her new book "The Moon and More"
No one combines romance, yearning, and empowerment like New York Times-bestselling young adult, author Sarah Dessen. We are thrilled to be co-hosting Sarah at the Morse Institute Library in Natick for her newest book for teens, The Moon and More. Set once again in Colby, the beach town that has been central to so many of her books, The Moon and More tells the story of Emaline, a hometown girl on the cusp of college, who is struggling to balance where she comes from with where she’s going. Sarah will discuss her new title, take questions from fans, and sign books.
To enter the signing line at this event, you must have purchased a copy of The Moon and More from Wellesley Books. Books are available for pre-order at the store (stop in or give us a call: 781.431.1160) and through our website (below). They will also be available for purchase at the event itself. Sarah will sign additional books brought from home, time permitting, but the number may be limited based on audience size.

ABOUT THE BOOK
In her eleventh novel, The Moon and More, Dessen returns to Colby, the beach town that is the setting for some of her best-loved books, in a story of summer love, self-discovery, striking out to new horizons, and saying goodbye. Emaline has grown up in Colby, so while others relax at the beach, she spends her summers working at the family’s vacation rental business. During her last summer before leaving for college, she is drawn into a romance with Theo, assistant to a documentary filmmaker who's in town to make a movie about a reclusive local artist. As her relationship with city-boy Theo evolves, Emaline begins to question her own values, goals, and choices. Filled with memorable characters, humor, and wonderful writing, this is top-notch Sarah Dessen—and that’s saying something!
