Meet Suzanne Collins, author of "The Hunger Games" trilogy

Attention all Hunger Games fans! Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games will be on tour - and YOU can meet her at the Wellesley Free Library on August 31st at 6:00pm! Suzanne will read from the final book in the trilogy, Mockingjay, (release date is August 24th) and, due to an existing hand strain, she will stamp one book per customer with an exclusive Mockingjay stamp designed especially for her 2010 book tour. Buy your copy of Mockingjay at Wellesley Booksmith beginning at 9am on August 24th - books will also be available at the library for the event. When you purchase your book from us you will receive a limited edition Mockingjay totebag AND you get to support your local independent bookstore - the one that brings fabulous books and authors to you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Due to an existing hand strain, rather than sign books, Suzanne Collins will stamp each book with a custom-made stamp created exclusively for 2010 Mockingjay events only. This stamp will be used throughout her fall 2010 tour. There will be no actual signing at this event. In order to meet as many fans as possible, she will be able to stamp a maximum of ONE book per customer and will not be able to personalize any books. Photographs are allowed but, in the interest of time, attendees may not individually "pose" with Suzanne Collins. Books (bundled with a Free Gift) will be available for purchase at the library.
