Holiday Stroll (& Cheer) from 11-6; Kid Activities from Noon-2; Mad Men Authors from 2-4:30pm

This year’s Holiday Stroll will be honored at Wellesley Books Sunday, December 4 from 11:00 – 6:00 pm. This fun community event brings families to Central St./Wellesley Square area to visit Santa, enjoy merchants' hospitality and do some holiday shopping in a festive atmosphere!

Join the festive spirit at Wellesley Books, where we will be happily greeting you and offering two special events:

Noon-2 pm: Stroll on in for book festivities for the whole family! Local authors A.J. Paquette, Anna Staniszewski, and Deva Fagan will be signing books and leading great crafts and activities in the early afternoon in honor of their new titles, Nowhere Girl, My Very Un-Fairytale Life, and Circus Galacticus. A signed copy of one (or all!) of these fantastic middle-grade novels would be the perfect holiday gift for that special young reader in your life. Join us for origami, facepainting, paper rockets, and more!

2-4:30 pm: Join Judy Gelman and Peter Zheutlin for a book-signing with 1950’s style treats! They will be signing copies of their newest book: The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook: Inside the Kitchens, Bars, and Restaurants of Mad Men. Packed with period detail, their cookbook provides invaluable historical and cultural context for the food and drink featured in Mad Men, tips on throwing a successful ’50’s cocktail party, and even a guide to favored Mad Men hangouts.
