In his only Boston appearance, Imran Ahmad shares his life story from leaving Karachi, Pakistan at the age of one, to life growing up as a Muslim immigrant in London. Both deliciously funny and deeply insightful, The Perfect Gentleman is a beguiling multi-layered memoir that has touched the hearts of readers all over the world, and has received an astonishing breadth of acclaim from all quarters.
About the Book
As a boy, Imran is torn between his Islamic identity and his desire to embrace the West, and becomes completely confused about most things, including religion. The book went on to be recognized in the ‘best books of the year’ lists of several major newspapers, as well as receiving much acclaim from across the political spectrum.
About the Author
