Terry and Brian Sinskie, piano and bass jazz duo, will be performing at the Wellesley Booksmith between 2 and 6 PM. As well as a variety of jazz standards, the performance will feature selections from their recently released trio CD, “Christmas Time with The Sinskie Jazz Trio”. The CD is available for purchase at the Wellesley Booksmith, and 100 % of the CD sale proceeds go to Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Brian and Terry Sinskie, in-home traveling piano and bass instructors that teach in Wellesley, also have performed steadily with their own jazz groups, achieving recognition in Downbeat Magazine for performance and composition. While leading her own jazz quartet, Joy Spring, Terry opened for artists Bobby McFerrin and Stephan Grappelli and accompanied such jazz luminaries as Lee Konitz, Al Cohn, Sheila Jordan, Frank Foster, Slide Hampton, Junior Cook, Jamey Aebersold and Roswell Rudd.
