by car

--FROM THE EAST
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 16 (Route 16W, West Newton).

Follow Route 16 West for 4.7 miles. Just past the LARGE brick & glass Wellesley Free Library on your left you’ll come to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight (not left) continuing onto Route 135W, which is also known as Central Street in Wellesley.

(NB: There’s a SMALL stone Wellesley Library building part way along Route 16 – go past that one!)

Wellesley Booksmith is .2 miles after the intersection on the left, just past The Gap and the tall, old-fashioned clock, on the last block of stores.

(NB: If you go past a stoplight or an entrance to Wellesley College, you’ve gone too far.)

If you turn left onto the street just before that clock, our parking lot is on your right. Parking is free in this lot behind our building. There is also metered parking on the streets.

--FROM THE WEST
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 14 (Route 95/128S, Weston). Go south on Interstate 95 (Route 128) for 1/2 mile to Exit 21B (Route 16W, Wellesley). Follow Route 16 West for 3 miles, using directions above.

--FROM THE NORTH
Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) South to Exit 21B (Route 16 West, Wellesley). Follow Route 16 West for 3 miles, using directions above.

--FROM THE SOUTH
Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) North to Exit 21B (Route 16 West, Wellesley). Follow Route 16 West for 3 miles, using directions above.

--USING THE COMMUTER RAIL

We are close to the Wellesley Square stop on the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line. From the station, go up the stairs to Crest Road and turn left. Walk 1/2 a block and turn right on Central St. We are about 3 blocks down on the left on Central St.
